A SUMMER DAY

Situated on the serene yet calm shore of Symi, Greece, a captivating oceanside structure emerges, inviting visitors of all ages to reflect and produce cherished memories. Crafted with Rhino 7 for meticulous modeling, Vray for lifelike rendering, and refined with Photoshop in post-production, the image captures the essence of one’s carefree summer days. Each step in the process breathes life into a visual story, inviting viewers to step into a moment suspended in time.

From start to finish, the reddish hue of the steel platforms is omnipresent. Serving as a wayfinding device, its trajectory is straightforward, evoking emotional peaks and valleys by framing views and incorporating diverse spatial and material elements.

Ultimately, guiding us back to the simplicity and enduring essence of nature, in stark contrast to the almost minuscule presence of our humanity, prompting us to recognize that the challenges we face are relatively small in comparison to the vastness of the world around us.

Nestled in New York City’s Chelsea District, a new public library seamlessly integrates with the beloved Highline, creating a dynamic space that connects the local community and its visitors. The design focuses on enhancing the user experience by strategically incorporating dedicated programmatic blocks throughout the building. Acting as both organization elements and connecting pathways, these blocks create a harmonious and at times playful flow within the library.

OFFWORLD PROJECTOR

As SpaceX makes space flight more affordable and accessible it will occupy a larger part of public consciousness. Our “Offworld Projector” project aims to bring some of the excitement of space flight to the Manhattan skyline. The project will serve as an exhibition of SpaceX and spacefaring-related iconography, missions, and events.

BEJEWELED

The following buildings are examples of observatory decks that are both otherworldly and transformative. Their alien-like appearance allows them to stand out in their sites, with the overall goal to adapt and transform the natural environment around them. The building is constructed out of malleable materials that seem to shimmer and shift, almost as if it is alive. Its shape is constantly changing curves and angles that defy traditional architectural forms.
